This lovely room has the look and feel of an English country garden.  A favorite room for many of our guests who request it each time they return.  It offers tall windows with a wonderful view of the Strathmore Gardens and mysterious green ravine beyond.  It is furnished with a graceful queen four-poster iron bed and has its own ample bath en suite.  Spend a quiet moment reading in the wing chair and let the light and soothing colors of this room make it a haven from the hectic pace of everyday life.  $165 per night  (Fri-Sun, Holidays) $155 (Mon-Thur).

Decorated in shades of blue and peach with a stunningly lovely crown canopy over the queen bed, this gracious guest room will cocoon you in luxury.   With its classic Victorian iron bed and charming hand painted armoire, you will feel as though you were in Paris in the 1890s.  There is a comfortable chair for reading and, of course, a private bath with a generous shower.  Maychild enjoys a lovely view of the Strathmore woods and the romantic old ruined mansion nearby.    $150 per night (Fri-Sun, Holidays) $140 (Mon-Thur).

This charming corner room is highlighted by a sun-drenched bay window with a comfortable cushioned window seat.   Turkey Knob summons the essential spirit of a country house.  Like Imperial, it overlooks the wide front lawn, the covered bridge and the river.  Furnished with a demi canopy antique brass queen bed with a cushiony feather bed, it also has it’s own comfortable wing chair for reading.  This room has a very spacious full private bath nearby in the hall.  $135 per night (Fri-Sun, Holidays) $125 (Mon-Thur).
