Driving Directions:

• From the Washington area proceed west on Route 66 to
  Route 81

• Turn south on I-81 approximately 25 miles to Exit 269 (Shenandoah Caverns)

• Exit left toward Route 11

• On Route 11 turn left (north) and proceed approximately ¼ mile to first left (note small brown covered bridge sign) which is Wissler Road, also Route 720.

• Cross over Meems Bottom Covered Bridge to the first driveway on your right.

• You will see our sign "STRATHMORE HOUSE"

• Guests from other areas: Proceed to Route 81, which runs North/South through the Shenandoah Valley and follow above directions.

• NOTE: If you get lost - call Strathmore or ask any local person for directions to the Covered Bridge- Strathmore House is a few hundred feet west of the bridge.
